Let’s see… I have to assume that if you are reading this, you probably have a pretty good idea of who I am! But, in case you don’t, I will tell you a few of my favorite things. I love traveling to places I’ve never been before and coming home again; I love spending time with my family and friends and getting to know people who are completely different from me; I love big cities like Dublin and Amsterdam and tiny towns like Scenic, SD and Hayes, VA; I love the 4-H pig show at the county fair and the endless parade of bikes and bikers on the main street at Sturgis; I love the innocence of babies and the experience of the elderly; I love American Chopper, American Idol and… of course, America; I love a heated discussion of philosophical and political ideas and people who agree that they can disagree; I love the Game Show Network, pickles, sunflowers, photography, geneology, motorcycles, open-minded people, Irish Setters, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, cherry limeades, the state fair, hot tubs, wireless Internet, rock and alternative music, collecting bears from Hard Rock Cafes, my iPod Nano and… the color yellow! That may all sound a bit eclectic and, well… I guess it is!

  1. Hi Virginia,

Glad to see you took the plunge and started your own blog. Jesse hardly writes enough to keep up-to-date though surely has a varied bunch of interests. I voted once for him on that poll you sent met by email and just realized that’s where I’ll find your email address.

    Replying here for two reasons:

    1) nobody else has left a message and couldn’t resist the opportunity to be first, and

    2) wondering if you could leave us loyal readers and update on the latest llama saga as am sure hoping Bandit survives her cranky mothers rotten attitude.

Here’s my blog address: http://whidden-wanderings.blogspot.com/ where as it says: Occasional comments pertaining to computers, genealogy, astronomy, science, books, movies, DVDs, travel and other areas of interest.

Cheers, Ray in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Check this site out for a single picture of your favorite color: yellow. My youngest sister, Lois (Whidden) Cwyk (that’s a Ukranian name; long since divorced) used to own one of these Morgan cars in yellow. She bought it when lived in Vancouver and sold it about 20 years later in Campbell River on Vancouver Island.

I visited to infrequently never saw it. Going there in December for a couple of weeks.

    Cheers, Ray

  4. Virginia,

I got your great family Christmas letter and the information about you blog. You asked for people to leave a message if we visit your blog so here it is. I have a break from work so that gives me some time to do this kind of fun stuff. Have a Merry Christmas.

  6. I live in Michigan, but I don’t get why so many people visit it every year. I mean, it’s just a rueglar state, just like every other state( except Hawaii, that’s an island). Sure, a lot of people come for the Tulip Time festival, but other than that, I don’t know why they come. Please help me!!!!!!!!

  7. I see you don’t monetize your website, don’t waste your traffic, you can earn additional bucks every month.
